- Served on the OASIS UBL Technical Committee and on the United Nations/CEFACT eBusiness Transition Working Group
(eBTWG), for the development of international standards for
electronic business, primarily on extensions of the XML markup language.
- Serviced as Information Systems Security Officer and Systems Safety Engineer, helping to insure the integrity of a large avionics package.
- Managed multiple engineering programs, establishing a reputation for working effectively with demanding customers and highly-talented engineers.
- Participated in the definition of a full product line of NMR spectroscopy instruments and defended its integrity via negotiations with customers, marketing people
, and the engineering group. Designed the user interface, packaging, cabling, and interface boards for those systems.
